Before you contact the team, please have available the model and serial number of your machine. This information is described on a card attached to the chassis of your machine.

The problem might be solved without a technician’s visit to your company, but this will depend on the type of adjustment that must be done on your machine. We might solve it through a technical guidance or by sending a small video guiding some simple adjustments that can be done by a technician in your company.

If the problem is complex, it will be necessary to schedule a visit of an Etirama’s specialized technician.

Our Technical Assistance Coordinator will schedule a date that meets your needs.

We will inform you the name of the technician that will do the visit and their document number so that you can arrange the purchase of their air tickets and reserve theiraccommodation.

Visit for Technical Assistance for machines without warranty:

Our Technical Assistance Coordinator will send you a quotation regarding the services and we will wait for the confirmation of the service hiring.  After you approve the quotation, the best date for the visit will be scheduled according to your need.

  1. Make sure that the “reset” button and the “emergency” button are not switched on.
  2. Check if the pneumatic system is working at correct pressure.
  3. Make sure that the electrical power voltage is correct according to the specifications.
  4. Check if the “sensor at the end of the paper reel” is working correctly.
  5. Check if the “brake of matrix sensor” is working correctly.
  6. Make sure that the device that counts the meters is working correctly.
  1. Check the dimensions of the cliché plate andthe gear.
  2. Check the thickness and hardness of the cliché.
  3. Make sure the double-sided quality is suitable for the type of application.
  4. Make sure that the plate cylinder is touching the substrate with uniform pressure at all points across the width.
  5. Check if the anilox conditions are good and appropriate for working.
  6. Check the anilox bearings and cliché plate.
  7. Make sure that the inks are in good working condition.
  8. Check the “doctor blade” conditions.
  1. Make sure that the material is passing through the inverter bar appropriately.
  2. Check if the bar is properly secured.
  3. Make sure that the bar has enough air to work properly.
  1. Check if the knife that’s being used was designed for the material that’s being cut.
  2. Check the cutting pressure being applied on the knife.
  3. Make sure that the matrix sensor mode is working correctly.
  4. Check the lubrication on the bushings and on the extremities of the die cutting.
  5. Check if the knife gear is dimensioned correctly.
  6. Check if there is no wear on the counter-knife (shear bar).
  7. Check if the belt and pulley of the cutting stage are working correctly.
  1. Check if the input calender and the output calender are working properly.
  2. Check the tension applied to the material (input tension).
  3. Make sure the material has been correctly passed through the machine.
  4. Make sure that the coupling is secured to the transmission of the machine.
  5. Check the dimensional of the clichéplateand the gear.
  6. Check the gap in the printer group (all printing stations).
  1. Make sure that the calendar between the printing group and the cutting stage are working properly.
  2. Make sure that the material passes through the cutting stage correctly.
  3. Check if the eccentric guides of the cutting stage are working correctly.
  4. Check if the transmission belt and thetransmissionpulley are working correctly.
  1. Check the fuse in the electrical panel of the machine.
  2. Check if the ratchet bearing is in good workingconditions.
  3. Check the rotation direction of the ratchet bearing.
  1. Check the rotation direction of the stove motor.
  2. Check the position of the hoses (blowing/suction).
  3. Make sure that the resistors or the lamps are working correctly.
  4. Check the condition of the inks (if they are in good working condition).
  1. Check the UV input voltage.
  2. Make sure that the baffle is opening/closing correctly.
  3. Make sure that the lamp has not reached its lifetime (operating life).
  4. Check the exhaustion system.
  1. Make sure that the sensor is working correctly.
  2. Check if the machine programming is in accordance with the number of “teeth” in the gear.
